| Future Sounds - Chipping Sodbury - Starts 10th Sept |
If you are a young musician you need to get down to Chipping Sodbury! From 10th September through till Xmas 'Future Sounds' will be delivering Music and Band Development sessions every Wednesday Evening! Session Starts at 7pm till 9pm. We have a live event planned for November.... come on down to get involved. We have Nick and Nova running the show - to great musicians!!

We have the website! Take a look at the website for the CRE8 IT music project. This project is taking place in Weston Super Mare during 2008-09. | Little Stoke Recording Studio - A Step Closer |
We are pleased to say that things are moving along really well with the building of a music studio within Little Stoke Youth Centre. We are chatting with the designers and it looks like a finished studio should be in place by the end of the year! In the background we are working hard with staff at Little Stoke to secure a long term grant to provide a music project from the new studio! Keep checking back for more information.

| Fiesta 888 a success! |
We would like to thank all of the youth workers and young people that took part in the Fiesta 888 event last week for an amazing event! Kayto Sound and tutor really enjoyed the project - with the young people producing some great tunes!
We'll be posting up the songs on the website within the next couple of weeks... watch this space!

| Kayto Sound Summer Vacation 11th-18th August |
If you want us - call us by the end of tomorrow - cos we are closing up shop for a week! FREEDOM! Yes - its an official week off to unwind and enjoy the summer sun (anyone seen it?). The good news it that when we return we should have a fully functional 'Services Database' up on the main website!

| Innovation Award! |
KAYTO SOUND PART OF THE AWARD WINNING INNOVATION TEAM
Kayto Sound are celebrating today!!! We would like to congratulate South Glos Council for there recent success in winning the 'Innovation Award 2008' - We would like to say a special well done to John and Dan and our very own 'Andy Cargill' and 'Nick Bealey'.
Andy Cargill (Kayto Sound) worked closely with John Morris and his team in creating and producing the Audio Trails last year, which are now available in local libraries for the general public to book out and us.
The Audio Trails are the first of its kind - and there are plans to create podcasts and a dedicated website for the 'Audio Trails' project.

| Podcasting at Patchway Youth Centre |
Dates are in for 2 exciting workshops that will be taking place at Patchway Youth Centre this summer.
Kayto Sound will be delivering Podcast Making workshops with young people - These podcasts will then appear on the South Glos Youth Service Website for all to hear! A great way for young people to express themselves and we'll be sure to forward you to the results!
