History of Kayto Sound

Kayto Sound officially started trading in January 2001. Kayto Sound was the trading name for the companies MD 'Andy Cargill'. Andy created a Music Making service for youth services in North Somerset and began working with a range of young people.

As reputation grew Andy began to include a few musician friends, enabling the company to provide other services. The company has always kept very close links with the professional music industry, all of our current and past tutors are recording musicians and some have gone onto teach at degree level, meaning we keep up to date and evolve with firm music routes. In around 2005 Andy educated in Business and Project management and began building a more formal structure to the company. Kayto Sound's custom built Intranet Booking System (for managing tutors and workshops) came online and we began creating our lesson plans, certification schemes and more in-depth project planning processes.

Kayto Sound managed its first 12 month regional project in 2005-6, for North Somerset Council, delivering over 600 workshops, in 8 locations across North Somerset, enabling a wide range of young people to access music provisions

We have since delivered and managed 5 large projects and everything in between. We have worked with over 80 organisations and created 5 'Youth Based' recording facilities. In April 2009 Kayto Sound turned Limited and we began the expansion of our business into new counties. 2009 has seen the launch of 'Little Stoke Live' State of the Art Recording / Teaching Studio and the highly successful Youth Music Project 'Future Sounds' supporting record numbers of young people.

Kayto Sound is still and will remain managed by founder Andy Cargill, we will remain 'personal' to our customers as we look forward to the next 10 years at Kayto Sound Limited.
