Studio nearly up are running!
Date: 13.01.09
All the equipment was ordered before Christmas - to date we have received everything but
the C|24 mixing desk. The next mission is getting hold of a console which will house the mixer - as its
such a new bit of kit we are limited in our options - the only company that make the consoles are in America!
(not very helpful!). We are looking into getting a console made by a carpenter - which should mean
we get a stunning looking studio with custom made furniture!.
The live room of the studio is now completed - just waiting for the studio doors and windows to be fitted. The
tie-lines are going in this week - then we should be able to get started in kitting out the studio with all the new toys!.
Josh (Studio Manager) is hard at work installing software and getting a temporary setup running so that
we can begin delivering workshops next week. Our aim is to have the studio up and running by the 10th February.

All Ready For Studio Fit in 2 Weeks Time
Date: 21.01.09
Hello, us again! So thought we'd give an update on the project and the studio.
Pleased to say that the workshops are going well! We are curently working with the young people that
attend the youth centre - we'll be advertising to other young people in the next couple of weeks.
Pro Tools is up and running and we've found a carpenter who will construct the mixing desk console for us... which is
going to mean that we'll have a purpose build bit of furniture in the control room - which will look and function perfectly.
Look out for the studio flyers! They'll be flying around the county over the next few weeks!

This is the first week of the 'Songwriting' and 'Sound Engineering' Programs running from the studio. The number of young people interested in the programs is
really positive and we cant wait to share the results online!
We are holding fire with the LIVE EVENT for the time being - just want the studio to be 100% ready before with offically launch the project and facility. We'll keep in
touch... and be sure to check out the 'Training' page of the website and book up on one of the exciting music programs on offer!

Little Stoke Live Open!
Date: 20.08.09
Wow, what an amazing day! Thanks to all those who attened our launch event on 15th August.
In the main hall we had live acts running throughout the afternoon and a 'talent show' which featured some stunningly talented young people! The
studio was busy with people coming and going, trying out the new equipment and chatting to our team about how this studio is going to support young people
across South Glos.
At the moment we are concerntrating on delivering the YOUTH MUSIC workshops, which enable young people of 11-18 to access very cheap music courses and recording time. We aim
to start hiring out the studio for private use in early 2010... We'll keep you posted on this site.
