Andy Cargill started Kayto Sound 8 years ago. He is still the driving force behind the company and is the first point of contact for all customers wishing to work with Kayto Sound.
Experience:
After completing a degree in 'Media Production' at Plymouth College Andy worked as a Music Maker for North Somerset Council. He then began delivering Freelance Music Making workshops and
has many years experience of working with young people from all backgrounds. He progressed into project managment, developing and delivering a number of 2 year Youth Music Projects. He was
part of the award winning team that created the South Glos 'Bat Trails' Audio Project (Winning an National Innovation Award in 2008). Andy still writes and records music - you can listen to his

Andy currently splits his time between Sweden and the UK - due to his family being based in Stockholm, Sweden. Thanks to the wonders of the internet this location split doesnt stop the effectiveness

Nick has been with Kayto Sound for over 3 years and is a very experienced Music Leader and Project Manager.
Experience:
Nick first met Andy Cargill as a student back in the early days. Nick studied Music Production at Bristol College and first worked with Kayto Sound as a trainee for a Youth Music Project in South Glos.
Nick has experience in working with young people of all backgrounds and was the lead tutor in a very successful detached music project delivered in Bradley Stoke in 2008.

Adam is both a great Music Making tutor and Guitarist. Adam was a trainee on an early North Somerset Youth Music Project delivered by Andy Cargill. With many years experience in Music Making and teaching
Adam is now our lead 'Music Making Trainer' - passing on his skills to the next generation of Kayto Sound Music Makers.
Experience:
Adam is a grade 8 guitarist and has played with many well-known songwriters and musicians. He teaches the 'rock school' guitar program in a number of schools in the South West and has recently finished recording

Lloyd is one of the newest members of the Kayto Sound team. Lloyd became involved in Kayto Sound as a volenteer, working alongside a few of our experienced music makers, and is now getting up to speed with
the teaching and technical skills required to deliver a 'top draw' Kayto Sound music making workshop. Lloyd has tons of energy and passion for music - tie this in with his great
musical skills and ability to work with young people... and you have a great music tutor!
Experience:
Lloyd has been playing the guitar for 8 years, he is also a keen and talented percussionist. Lloyd is into a wide spectrum of music, with paticular interests in Reggae Dub and Jazz. His current musical project
is forming a 'percussive band' and this involves 'wild syncopated hand drum jams' (Which sounds great to us!). Lloyd plays in a few Bristol bands including 'Phlegm', 'Sickwax' and 'Gitane'... We are hoping to bring you links
to these bands very soon!

James is a proffesional drummer and has been involved with Kayto Sound since day 1. James currently works as part of our training team - passing on teaching advise and skills to our new tutors.
Experience:
James is Head of Drums at 'BIMM' Bristol (A highly respected further education college in Bristol). He is the drummer with 'Malakia', a Bristol band that have toured with Groove Armarda, played Glastonbury
and delivered live sets on Radio 1. We are proud to have a person with such a wealth of knowledge and experience involved in the company. James works closely with Andy (MD) in developing our tutor training
programs.

Martin (aka Tan) is a professional drummer and drum tutor who has been working with Kayto Sound for the past 2-3 years. Martin became involved with Kayto Sound

Tan is a dynamic and viberant drum tutor with bags of knowledge and experience. Tan has a range of musicial qualifications, including a Degree in Music Technology. Not only does
Tan play the drums, but he is also a talented songwriter and guitarist. He plays drums for a couple of great

Josh is a highly talented musician and DJ based in Bristol. He joined Kayto Sound last year and is our lead tutor for the 'Little Stoke Live' Youth Music Project.
Experience:
Josh is a freelance music maker and DJ tutor who also works with 'Remix' and the 'Basement Project' in Bristol.
As a music leader Josh has many years experience in working with young people, he spent a year working as an Engagement worker with Connexions, working
with year 11 non-attendees. Josh has a true passion in engaging young people through music and is a gifted and inspiring tutor.
As a DJ promoter and producer Josh is involved in all aspects of dance music. In recent years he as set up a DJ collective (We Dont Play) which hosts
regular club nights in Bristol. The club night has gone from strength to strength and has taken Josh across Europe with DJ sets at festivals
such as 'Echo Festival' (Serbia), 'Electric Picnic' (Ireland) and the world famous 'Glastonbury Festival' (UK). As a writer Josh is signed to
'Surgery Records UK' and 'Dead Famous Records'. Last year his song 'It's On' reached number 2 in the streetwise charts and has gained airplay on radio

Sharon ensures that we provide up to date 'Safeguarding Children' training to all new tutors. We also deliver annual training to update exsisting tutors on the latest

Sharon has over 10 years experience in working with young people. Sharon ran a Bristol based play scheme for many years and is currently working with North Somerset Council on the 'Play Pods'
project. Sharon has a FdA in Playwork and is trained in First Aid, Safeguarding Children and Fire Safety.

Chris worked alongside Andy C (Managing Director Kayto Sound Ltd) during the early days of Kayto Sound. Chris was the DJ and
Dance Music tutor, and Andy took care of the Sound Engineering tuition. Now we are pleased to have Chris back on board to share his skills
with young people.
Chris is one half of 'The Beat Monkey's' the highly successful live DJ act and music production team.
Chris has released a string of records and featured in Mixmag, MTV and many more. DJ'ing has taken Chris around the
world having played in Africa, Ibiza and across Europe and the US.

Chris has over 8 years experience as a DJ tutor. He has delivered every style of DJ workshop - from basic courses through to master classes in
DJ'ing and the Dance Music Industry. Chris is also an expert on the 'music making' front. He is a highly skilled 'Pro Tools' engineer and
